THE ROOT CHAKRA:
Color associated with The Root Chakra is Red
The principle of this Chakra is:
Our human "will" in the physical sense.
The Root Chakra
is our connection to the physical world.
It brings in and changes cosmic energies
to this world in everyone and everything.
It helps the earthly energy
contiuously enter into our subtle system
Man's basic needs as a person
and as a part of the human race,
in the area of survival, and life itself
belong
to the influences of the first chakra.
Those who have succeeed in opening this chakra
will accept life completly as it is on Earth.
They will have learned to live in harmony,
with everyone, and everything on this planet
and have the insight to gain knowladge from every experience.
The red energy that comes from the Earth itself
gives us stability on our planet.
This is the foundation
with which we can build our lives.
This energy is also supplying our need and ability
for creative self-expression.
It aids us in our need for preparing an existence,
as well as the natural need to
procreate,
thus being sure of the survival of our species.
The root chakra is the stuctural base
for all the higher chakras
In the location of the Root Chakra
is where we can get in touch with the powerful
and
never ending supply
of what is known as the Kundalini energy.
Sushumna, ida, and pingala are
the three main energy channels
of the human body.
They too begin in this chakra.
It is the base of our collective unconscious.
It is through this chakra
that we can seek and find
the
stored information of the collective unconscious.
Our inner system needs to have a balance.
This is why it's important for the Root Chakra
to be functioning in harmony
with the
Crown Chakra.

THE SACRAL CHAKRA:
Color associated with The Sacral Chakra is Orange
The basic principle of this Chakra is:
Our human reproductive instinct.
The Second Chakra is the center of
our raw emotions and creativity.
Through the sacral chakra we partake
in the receiving and the processing of energies
which are the basis of nature on this planet.
We as humans view our existence
as the process of creation.
Which we express in ourselves
as feeling and creativity.
The influence of the Sacral Chakra includes
the impulse to create new life,
in the areas where
the growing soul is nourished, sheltered, and provided
with everything it needs for it's development.
The water element
also cleanses and purifies us in the sense of
our energy from the second chakra.
It dissolves blockages that might stop
or slow the vital natural flow.
Here on this planet in our phsyical form
this need to be cleansed of decontaminents
is looked after by the kidneys and bladder.
On the soul or spiritual level this is accomplished
in the form of unconditional, free-flowing feelings
which allow us to see and feel life
as something always wonderful and new.
Our relationships with others,
especially those with the opposite gender
are completly influenced
by the functions of the second chakra.

THE SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA:
Color associated with The Solar Plexus Chakra
is Yellow.
The basic principle of this Chakra is:
Our emotional and social forming as humans.
According to opinions,
some feel there is a discrepancy in its location.
We are actually working with a main chakra,
which includes several secondary chakras.
These are so similar in their purpose and function
that they can be considered as one main chakra.
The Solar Plexus
is where we absorb the solar energy.
This energy is what nurtures and
feeds
our ethereal body.
When our ethereal body is nurtured,
it will maintain our
physical body.
In the third chakras we take in,
hold, and put out the emotional energy
from our daily
contact with people and our world.
Our relations with others,
our likes and our dislikes,
are mostly controlled by this chakra.
Here we find who we are
as a person, in the social sense
and look to confirm who we are in this world of ours.
We do this through our daily life
and we can witness this in our personal assertion,
the
drive to achieve,
and our ability to adapt to social patterns.
The important job of the third chakra
is to purify our desires and wishes
within the lower chakras.
This chakra is
consciously controlling
and using the creative energy
of those desires and wishes.
The final result is that we allow the spiritual riches
of the higher chakras
to become a part
of our material world.
In accomplishing this we achieve
the greatest possible fulfillment
on
all levels of our human existance.
It is directly connected to to the Astral Body,
which houses our wishes, desires, and
emotions.
Here all of those emotions from our lower chakras
are transformed into the higher
energy patterns.
The combination of these two areas of energies
are what shapes us as
fufilled humans.
When we accept and blend
our feelings, wishes, and experiences
we
help our third chakra to relax and open.
This opening will increase our inner
light
bringing every situation in our lives
to a wonderful accepting state of existance.
This allows us to feel joy, enlightenment,
and an inner satisfaction.
I like to call the Solar Plexus Chakra
our center of emotion.
Now through this center of
emotion
we are able to perceive the energy of others
and do react according to what
we feel.
Have you ever been in a room with people
and you come across someone
who you just know is upset
even though they are not verbally expressing it?
And
usually a normal reaction
would be one of caution,
or to send them love through
vibrational transfer.
When this happends
the third chakra has a contraction
as a warning of
potential danger.
This is a temporary protective measure
which becomes second nature
when our inner light is strong enough
to envelope our body like a protective blanket.

THE HEART CHAKRA:
Color associated with The Heart Chakra is Green
The basic principle of this Chakra is:
The learning of unconditional love
for self and others.
We all yearn for deep, intimate contact,
for oneness, harmony and love,
and
even when these feelings come to us
in the form of extreme sorrow and pain
it all is
being expressed through the Heart Chakra.
When this third chakra is fully open,
it is the center of the purest unconditional love.
This state cannot be either possesed or lost.
When connected with the higher chakras,
this love is changed into the energy of
Bhakti,
the Divine Love that allows us to experience
the Divine presence in all
Creation.
Thus we are united with the heart
of all things in the universe.
On this
journey to our hearts goal
we must learn to love unconditionally our own self,
and to accept
who we truly are.
This helps us to accept
and love all others and life in general.
Once
we have achieved this goal
and our realization is set on the fact that
it is for our highest
and best good
we are filled with a loving acceptance
that all feelings
and expressions
of life come from
the longing
for love and union with life.
We then come to the conclusion that
we all are
an expression of love.
When we suffer from any form of pain or illness,
by
giving the afflicted organ
or part of the body
our loving attention
we can accelerate recuperation enormously.
This wonderful Love center therefor has
the increadable potential for healing.
For others as well as ourselves.
When we learn to love and fully accept unconditionally
all parts of our personality
from the depths of our heart,
we can be healed completely.
With the powerful energy of the Heart Chakra
an open
fourth chakra can have
an instant healing influence on others.
In cases of conscious deliberate healing
the inner eye chakra has to be part of the
process.
Green is the color of healing,
sympathy, and harmony.
When a gifted person
perceivces
a clear light green
in a person's heart chakra this can be precieved as
a very well developed ability to heal.
When a golden aura, mixed with pink is perceived
this shows
a person who lives
in pure and selfless love of the Divine.
A developed and open Heart Chakra
may be a
tool to estblish the contact
with the universal part of our soul,
or the Divine with in each of
us.

THE THROAT CHAKRA:
Colors associated with The Throat Chakra are:
Pale blue, silver, greenish blue.
The basic principle of this Chakra is:
Our verbal expression as a human.
The Throat Chakra is the center of the human ability
in expression, communication, and
inspiration.
The fifth chakra is connected
to a smaller secondary chakra
that is located in the neck
and opens to the back of the neck.
These two energy centers are often viewed as one.
The fifth chakra also acts as an important link
between the lower chakras and the crown
center.
It serves as a bridge between
our thoughts and feelings,
our impulses and reactions.
This fifth chakra also acts as a comunication center
for our
other chakras.
Through the throat chakra
we are capable of expression in all that is within us.
A verbal expression of emotion so to speak.
These emotions would include
our laughing and crying,
our feelings of love and happiness,
anxiety and aggressiveness, as well as our ideas.
Ether is the medium of sound,
and is the base element in the throat chakra.
The spoken word in general,
as well as the Divine word of Creation.
Communication of our inner self takes place
in our spoken word and gestures.
The communication doesn't stop there
we also express ourselves in forms of music,
performing arts, and dancing.
In the throat chakra
the creativity of the sacral chakra
joins with the energies of the other chakras,
and the ether shapes these energies.
This enables us to communicate to the world.
We
are only able express what we find in ourselves,
and the main tasks of the fifth chakra
is to provide us with an amount of self distance.
Which enables us to reflect
on all of
our thoughts and actions.
Ether is also known as Akasha,
the astral light where all the events
actions, thoughts, and feelings that have occurred
since the beginning of time
are recorded.
When we become completely open
we will be granted the purest and deepest
sense
of knowledge and insight.
The light blue color of ether
is also that of the throat chakra.
Here is where we perceive and better understand
our
own inner voice, and are enabled
to make contact with our inner spirit.
Then to receive its inspiration.
How exciting to become consious of our own
real true mission in life.

THE THIRD EYE CHAKRA:
Colors associated with The Third Eye Chakra are:
Indago Blue,
Yellow or Violet.
The basic principle of this Chakra is:
Inner most knowladge as a being.
All of our physical senses
including our extrasensory perception
are connected with this Chakra.
It is the center of our higher mental powers.
The sixth chakra houses our intellectual
ability
to distinguish, as well as our will
and our memory of all in this life and past
lives.
On our Earthly plane
the Third Eye Chakra is our highest center point
of
communication for our central nervous system.
It's actual color is a clear indigo blue,
but yellow and violet shades are also found.
Each of the colors indicate different functions
shown at different levels of our
consciousness.
Rational or intellectual thought
may produce yellow,
while a clear dark blue color indicates
intuition.
And in the case of extrasensory perception
this would show as various shades
of violet.
With our mental capability we are connected
with
the process of "seeing"
through the third eye chakra.
All knowledge in Creation already exists,
and is stored in the pure unconscious mind.
A soul or being in its shapelessness
manifests a first pattern of vibration.
From this point of the first pattern vibration
each new step in a forward
direction
towards our development in awareness
creates a new and different pattern of vibration.
So this stands to reason how all levels of
creation
are stored in human life.
From pure ethereal being to the densest of matter,
each are represented in the chakras.
All containing their own various levels of
vibration.
So the process of manifestation
also takes place within and through us.
As the third eye is the center core
for attainment of consciousness,
it is here that we can manifest matter
and dematerialize it.
With the completly open Third
Eye Chakra,
we are given the ability to create new realities
on the physical
level and dissolve old ones.
THIS PROCESS SHOULD NOT BE FORCED,
as it takes place
automatically
and without conscious action on our part.
The decision making thoughts in our lives,
are usually caused and controled
by
unresolved emotional patterns.
These are often brought about by
programmed opinions
and prejudices.
So it is said then, that our mind is often
not the master but the
servant.
These emotional thoughts
often dominate us in our daily lives.
When our Third Eye Chakra is open and developed
we can control this process more
consciously.
By using our intention and imagination
we can literaly create the
energy
that will fufill our wishes.
In conjunction with an open heart chakra,
we can send out healing energies.
This will
benifit those who are close in location
and over a long distance.
We can also access all levels of creation
and experience them beyond the physical
reality.
This type of knowledge is in the form of intuition,
clairvoyance, hearing or
feeling.
That little voice that has made us suspect
all of this information
is now perceived
clearly.

THE CROWN CHAKRA:
Color associated with The Crown Chakra is Violet.
However; white and gold are also associated colors
The basic principle of this Chakra is:
The purest of spirit and being.
The Crown Chakra
is the central core of highest human perfection,
and is often seen and shown as
hovering
above the head in a halo like form of light.
There is an outer blossom or flower
in the Crown Chakra that consists of 960 petals.
Inside this chakra is found
a second flower with 12 petals.
These flowers glow in a white
light
intermingled with gold.
This chakra being the highest center
of all the
chakras unites itself
with all the energies of the whole chakra system.
This center is what we call
home.
In this center of pure energy
we live and experience unity with the Divine
principle.
This Divine principle of the universe
that we are all connected to.
With this Crown Chakra center
our personal energy field is one with the universe.
When our seventh chakra is fully open
blockages in the other chakra centers are
cleared.
We now would have a complete comprehension
of anything that was
intuitively
or intellectually understood.
The awareness given to us
by the seventh chakra
goes far beyond the knowledge conveyed
by the third eye chakra.
As stated above
Violet is shown as the opening of this chakra center.
Violet is the color
of meditation and devotion.
While we are able to consciously influence
the activation of the six lower energy centers,
in the case of the seventh
all we can do is open ourselves
and let things happen through us.
As this process unfolds
all the energies of the six other chakras
begin to vibrate at their highest possible frequencies.
As soon as the crown chakra is completely awakened,
its task of absorbing cosmic energies comes to an end
and it starts to radiate energy of its own accord.
A lotus flower opens out to form a crown
of pure light around the head.
